Hello St. Mary's Community Members,

Temperatures will be cold once again tonight (Tuesday 2/11) and tomorrow (Wednesday 2/12). We advise that you trickle water during this time to keep main lines, service lines, and plumbing lines from freezing.

Here are a few other steps you can take to prevent your indoor plumbing from freezing:

• Keep your heat at or above 55ºF. 
• Open kitchen and bathroom cabinets to allow heat to reach the plumbing.
• Insulate accessible plumbing that has a higher likelihood of freezing or that has frozen in the past.
• Disconnect all exterior water connections and hoses.
• Keep at least one faucet in your house trickling.
